Embeddable AI assistant that takes actions inside your app, not just answers questions

Embeddable AI assistant that takes actions inside your app, not just answers questions Yedric is an AI assistant that app makers embed in their own product.
Yedric's useful distinction is its connection to app actions. A support answer can become a completed task when the app team exposes the right tools and permission checks. Its dashboard, simulations and version history give teams ways to inspect and test that behavior.
We would start with read-only questions and one low-risk action before giving it wider write access. The platform is advertised as free, with a small default model for testing, but advanced models and larger use need your own provider keys and may incur model charges. This is a desk-research assessment, not a hands-on recommendation.
Yedric is an AI assistant that app makers embed in their own product. Users can ask questions and request actions in plain language. The assistant uses the app’s knowledge and calls the tools or APIs that the app owner has exposed.
The official site describes knowledge from documents, PDFs, files and URLs, page-specific context, and API or MCP connections. Teams choose which actions are available. That can make an assistant useful for workflows such as updating settings or creating records, but it also makes action permissions and user identity part of the implementation.
The workspace includes conversation reports, a dashboard, action controls, simulations and configuration versions. Its documentation describes saved test scenarios and restoring earlier configurations. These are useful checks before a change reaches production users, not a guarantee that every action will be correct.

The homepage says the platform is free with no credit card required. The documentation adds that new assistants can start on a small default model using Yedric’s keys. More advanced models or larger usage require your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google keys, with provider costs paid separately. No paid platform tier is listed on the pages we checked.
Secure Mode binds sessions to a verified user through server-side signing. The documentation distinguishes that from anonymous browser-local sessions. Teams should check identity binding, tool permissions and secret handling before allowing changes to customer records or settings. We did not audit those controls.
The homepage names Shopify apps including MESA, Infinite Options, Smile, Tracktor and Uploadery as users. Those are vendor references rather than independently confirmed case studies.
Yedric is worth evaluating when an app team wants an assistant to help users complete tasks, rather than only answer questions. The free platform and default test model make exploration easier. The larger cost is integration work: design a small set of safe actions, test them against real user context and measure where human support is still needed.
Review basis: official homepage and product documentation checked October 10, 2026. No hands-on assistant, API, performance or security test. Dashboard figures are sample interface data, not verified outcomes.
Desk research October 10, 2026 using the official homepage, linked product documentation, FAQ, actions, usage and Secure Mode, plus ShopPad's product and legal pages. ShopPad lists Yedric as its product; linked privacy and terms are ShopPad's general policies rather than a Yedric-specific policy. No hands-on assistant or API test and no security audit. Screenshot is the official dashboard UI with sample data, not measured outcomes. A free platform and default test model are advertised; advanced models/larger usage need provider keys and separate costs.
