Browser AI voice generation with SSML and multi-speaker scripts

Browser AI voice generation with SSML and multi-speaker scripts TTSForge is a browser-based text-to-speech service for turning scripts into downloadable audio.
TTSForge combines a small browser script editor, voice selection, SSML and multi-speaker workflows at a low monthly entry price. Current official pricing and UI are visible before purchase. Watch the guest/free caps, shared credit accounting, seven-day history and cloud-data terms. This is a source-based review, not an audio-quality test.
TTSForge is a browser-based text-to-speech service for turning scripts into downloadable audio. It offers a voice library, SSML controls, multi-speaker scripts and an audio/video transcription tool. Short guest use is available without creating an account, while registered free and paid plans have separate character or credit allowances.
It is worth considering for short narration, e-learning dialogue and voice placeholders when a low entry price matters. The interface is easy to inspect before subscribing. However, we did not generate or listen to an output, so claims about naturalness, accuracy and speed are vendor claims rather than our test results.
The public editor has a text area, a live character counter, a selected voice and controls for pitch, speed and volume. Its SSML toolbar includes pauses, emphasis, prosody and say-as options. The voice-picker separates Standard, Pro and Pro+ voices and lets users choose a language and preview

The voice-picker separates Standard, Pro and Pro+ voices and lets users choose a language and preview a voice. In the English-US view we inspected, the picker showed 196 voices; that is one language view, not a verified global count.
The website advertises more than 1,000 voices and over 40 languages on its FAQ page. Its live library labels do not map neatly onto the plan names on the pricing page, so check the voice you want under the account you intend to use. MP3, WAV and OGG are the advertised speech export formats. A pronunciation-sensitive script still needs a listening pass before release.
The multi-speaker page describes assigning different voices and languages to separate text blocks, adding SSML pauses and merging them into one audio file. It states that guests are limited to 300 characters across all blocks; logged-in users can write longer scripts. This is useful for dialogue-style training content, but it is not evidence that every paid voice has the same credit cost.
The transcription page supports uploading common audio and video formats or recording in the browser. It describes timestamped editing and TXT, PDF, Word and SRT exports. The public interface says files and history are deleted after seven days. Its FAQ says logged-in uploads can be up to one hour and 500MB, while current pricing lists a two-minute free transcription limit and paid transcription at 30 credits per second. We did not upload a recording or verify transcript accuracy.
The guest speech editor we inspected allowed 300 characters. The registered Free plan is listed at $0 with 500 characters or credits per day, 500 characters per generation, standard voices and ads. Starter is $2.49 per month for 50,000 characters or credits and up to 5,000 characters per generation. Pro is $6.90 for 500,000 credits, while Ultimate is $13.90 for 1.2 million; both list a 20,000-character generation limit.
The live pricing page also offers Max capacity choices: Max 1 at $29.90 for 3 million credits, Max 2 at $49.90 for 6 million and Max 3 at $99.90 for 15 million per month. These list the same 20,000-character generation limit, all voices, seven-day generation history and no ads. We verified the selector states directly because the static page extract omitted these choices.
The page calls the allowance characters/credits and charges paid transcription at 30 credits per second. Do not treat the headline allowance as a promise of that many characters for every voice or as free transcription hours. No annual price, rollover guarantee or public developer API was established. Check the selected voice and balance rules before paying.
The terms allow users to retain their input text and use generated audio commercially, but prohibit illegal content, fraud, rights violations and unauthorized imitation of a real person’s voice. They also prohibit using generated audio to develop competing voice services. Users must be adults aged 18 or over or meet the applicable age of majority.
The refund policy names Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record and says cancellation takes effect for the next billing period. It describes narrow refund eligibility within seven days, including accidental purchases or unresolved major technical issues, with unused premium quota or features. Used quota, change of mind and unused current-period time are not a dependable refund route. The general terms say payments are non-refundable unless required by law; read the detailed policy and checkout before buying.
The privacy policy says input text is temporarily processed for audio and is not used for model training unless a user explicitly opts in. Generated audio may be stored depending on the plan. It also describes IP/browser/device information, usage logs, session cookies, service providers and Google AdSense advertising for free users. This is not a no-tracking or offline tool.
The pricing page’s broad promise that audio and data are never used for training is more absolute than the policy’s opt-in exception. The privacy policy also lists payment-provider examples that differ from the refund policy’s named merchant. We have not verified provider contracts, infrastructure, encryption or retention beyond what the published pages state. Avoid confidential scripts or recordings unless those terms meet your requirements.
TTSForge puts useful narration controls in a small web editor and has inexpensive monthly entry plans. Multi-speaker scripts, several export formats and a related transcription workflow are practical strengths. Tight guest/free limits, shared credit accounting, short history and uneven labels across older pages are the main cautions.
We reviewed the official editor, voice-picker, live pricing selectors, transcription and multi-speaker pages, terms, privacy, refund policy and contact page. We entered a harmless sample sentence to inspect the editor and captured genuine UI. We did not generate audio, create an account, subscribe, upload private content or test paid features. An independent review used older per-conversion limits and payment details, so current official pages take precedence here.

Current pricing offers Max1 Max2 and Max3 capacities alongside Free Starter Pro and Ultimate; paid transcription is listed at30credits per second. Older voice-tier labels remain in the public library.
