Our verdict

Humanity pairs mature drag-and-drop scheduling with integrated, geofenced time tracking, and adds AI-assisted auto-fill and demand forecasting on higher tiers. A 30-day no-credit-card trial and TX-RAMP Level 2 certification are strong proof points in this category.

Humanity Schedule is the employee scheduling product from TCP Software, a workforce management company founded in 1988 in San Angelo, Texas. Built for shift-based and frontline teams, it combines drag-and-drop scheduling, time and attendance, and employee self-service in one cloud platform.

Managers build schedules in a visual editor, collect staff availability, and let employees claim open shifts or request swaps from the official iOS and Android apps. Schedules, changes and approvals trigger notifications by SMS, email and in-app alerts, and multiple locations are managed from a single admin dashboard.

On the Professional plan, Humanity adds auto-fill scheduling and demand-based scheduling, which uses AI-assisted forecasting to match staffing levels to expected demand. That tier also adds employee communications, compliance tools, labor cost budgeting, skills and certifications tracking, advanced reporting, and SSO/SAML.

Time tracking is built in: employees clock in from mobile apps with geofencing, and approved hours flow into payroll-ready timesheets.

Pricing is per employee per month. Essentials starts at $3.30 billed monthly or $2.75 billed annually for up to 250 employees, Professional starts at $4.50 monthly or $3.75 annually with volume discounts, and Enterprise is a custom quote. TCP offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. On security, TCP lists TX-RAMP Level 2 certification for Humanity and makes a SOC 3 report available on request.

TCP positions Humanity for healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, higher education, K-12 education, and government and public safety teams. It is a strong fit for organizations that want scheduling and time tracking in one tool; teams looking for a permanently free plan will need to look elsewhere.
