Agendrix is an employee scheduling and HR software platform made in Canada and used by more than 14,000 workplaces, according to the company’s official about page. Founded in 2015, it targets shift-based small and midsize businesses that are outgrowing spreadsheets and group chats. The vendor states it is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and GDPR compliant on its security page, and the product is fully bilingual in English and French.

The core of the product is shift scheduling: managers build employee schedules, publish open shifts, and collect staff availability, while employees see everything from the web or the iOS and Android apps. Around the scheduler, Agendrix bundles timesheets and a time clock (including a kiosk app), time-off management, team communication and onboarding with employee records, so scheduling, attendance and basic HR live in one place. Payroll is handled through integrations rather than natively: the official integrations page lists QuickBooks, ADP, Lightspeed, Nethris

Pricing, verified on the official pricing page in October 2026, is per user with monthly or annual billing in USD. Essential is $3.25 per user per month, or $2.93 billed annually. Plus is $5.25 per user per month, or $4.73 billed annually. The Time and Attendance add-on is $2.25 per user per month, or $2.03 billed annually, and Enterprise is custom-priced. Every plan offers a 21-day free trial with no credit card required.

Watch-outs: there is no permanently free plan, so costs start once the trial ends, and per-user pricing grows with headcount. Payroll is not built in, so you still need an external provider through the integrations. Agendrix also does not publish its founders or headquarters city on its official site, and its sweet spot is clearly SMB shift scheduling rather than enterprise workforce management with advanced labor forecasting.

Overall, Agendrix is a strong fit for restaurants, retail, hospitality and care teams that want scheduling, time tracking and light HR in a single bilingual tool at a genuinely low entry price. Teams needing enterprise-grade forecasting should compare Planday, Humanity and other workforce-management platforms.

Who it's for

Best for

  • Restaurants
  • retail and hospitality teams building weekly shift schedules
  • Clinics
  • pharmacies and care providers coordinating rotating staff
  • Canadian SMBs wanting scheduling
  • time tracking and core HR in one bilingual tool
  • Managers who want time-off requests and team messaging in the same app

Not ideal for

  • Enterprises needing deep workforce-management forecasting and labor modeling
  • Teams wanting a permanently free plan (there is none
  • only a trial)
  • Buyers who need founders and headquarters details published on the vendor site
  • Organizations wanting native payroll inside the scheduler (payroll runs through integrations)

How we tested

We researched Agendrix in October 2026 using its official website, pricing page, security page, integrations catalog, legal documentation and help center, and compared its published capabilities and pricing against other employee scheduling software in this category. Agendrix does not publish its founders or headquarters city on its official site, so those fields are intentionally left blank. Ratings reflect editorial judgment based on that research. We did not purchase a plan or run a live pilot for this listing.
