Generate and manage multilingual privacy policies for your website.

Generate and manage multilingual privacy policies for your website. PrivacyPolicy Generator by CookieYes is a web tool for creating and maintaining privacy policies from a guided questionnaire about a business and its data practices.
I would shortlist this for a small business or agency that needs a structured first draft and a clear way to keep the published policy in step with edits. The questionnaire is a more useful starting point than copying another company's document. It asks about contacts, collection, use, disclosure and retention, which are the decisions a policy owner needs to make before worrying about the final wording.
The best practical detail is the choice between an embed and HTML. I would use the embed when the team wants dashboard edits reflected on the site without a second deployment. If the site needs static HTML, I would make replacing that HTML part of the review process. Calling either route simply “auto-updating” hides an important difference.
I would not treat the policy as a legal sign-off. The provider says the service is not legal advice, and accurate inputs are still the buyer's responsibility. I would also confirm California coverage before choosing a plan: the headline mentions CCPA/CPRA, but the pricing table reserves its CCPA privacy-policy label for Pro. Multi-language support is a paid feature too.
This is a desk-research review by Ashley Richmond based on the official launched website, both billing views, linked CookieYes generation and editing guides, provider policies, company information and the Product Hunt launch. I inspected vendor-published interface images. I did not create an account, generate a policy for a real business, test translation accuracy or obtain a legal review. The score reflects the documented workflow and limits, not proven legal compliance.
PrivacyPolicy Generator by CookieYes is a web tool for creating and maintaining privacy policies from a guided questionnaire about a business and its data practices. The Product Hunt launch links to freeprivacypolicy.ai, a separate site from CookieYes’s older no-signup, copy-and-paste generator. The launched service asks users to create an account and offers free and paid plans.
The documented questionnaire covers company contacts and business details, personal and sensitive information collected, how data is used and disclosed, retention periods and other disclosures. Users can preview the resulting policy and select multiple languages on supported plans. The vendor advertises alignment with GDPR for the EU and UK, CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA. This is a vendor capability claim, not a guarantee that every business becomes compliant simply by generating a document.

Policies can be installed with a JavaScript code snippet or copied HTML. CookieYes’s linked documentation says the snippet reflects changes made in the platform automatically; HTML must be copied back to the website after each edit. The homepage also promises update notifications when policies need attention. Neither route replaces checking that the questionnaire accurately describes current data practices.
The offer includes cookie-policy generation and access to CookieYes consent-management features. Cookie scanning limits and scheduled scans shown in pricing belong to that wider bundle; they should not be confused with automatic discovery of every personal-data practice. Site owners can use the documented embed routes on WordPress, Shopify and other websites. A separate dedicated API, native mobile app or standalone browser extension was not established by the sources reviewed.
The current USD plans are Free at $0, Basic at $10 per site per month or $100 per site per year, Pro at $25 per month or $250 per year, and Ultimate at $55 per month or $550 per year. Prices exclude tax. Multi-language support starts on Basic, while the pricing table specifically places a CCPA-compliant privacy policy on Pro. That narrower tier label deserves confirmation if California coverage is a buying requirement despite the broader headline claim. The site advertises a 14-day free trial for paid plans.
CookieYes Limited is the provider. Its company page dates the business to 2018 and reports 48 employees; that is not the launch date or team size of this particular tool. Ratings, market-share claims and brand logos displayed on the product homepage describe CookieYes more broadly and are not independent reviews of this new generator. The provider explicitly says its tools do not constitute legal or regulatory advice.
Desk research by Ashley Richmond: reviewed the launched official site, USD monthly and annual pricing, linked CookieYes generation and editing docs, company page and policies, and Product Hunt. Inspected vendor-published company-details and data-collection UI images. No account created, no real-business policy generated, no translation test and no legal audit. Ratings and brand claims for CookieYes were not treated as generator-specific evidence.
