What is Zoffer Bills?
WhatsApp bill capture with human verification before posting to Zoho Books. Bill capture without giving up approval Zoffer Bills is an AI-assisted bill and expense capture tool for Indian businesses that already use Zoho Books.
Our verdict
A verification-first way to reduce WhatsApp bill transcription into Zoho Books. Start with the20-bill free allowance and compare drafts to originals before posting; do not buy on unverified AI-CFO or roadmap promises.

Bill capture without giving up approval
Zoffer Bills is an AI-assisted bill and expense capture tool for Indian businesses that already use Zoho Books. Forward a vendor bill on WhatsApp, let Zoffer draft its fields, then review the entry before it posts to the connected books. The practical appeal is reducing transcription, not handing an algorithm responsibility for the ledger.
The official operator is Zoffer Innovations Private Limited. Its company page names founder Chirag Goyal, New Delhi, India, and incorporation in November 2025. Those are company-page statements rather than a corporate-registry audit. The open founding CTO role and unnamed CA advisor do not establish an exact employee count, which remains blank. DPIIT recognition and NSUT incubation are vendor claims, not security certifications.
Product Hunt’s exact Zoffer Bills listing describes WhatsApp-to-Zoho bill entry and a INR999 monthly launch price. The current official site has a broader free/paid plan menu. A launch-team

Product Hunt’s exact Zoffer Bills listing describes WhatsApp-to-Zoho bill entry and a INR999 monthly launch price. The current official site has a broader free/paid plan menu. A launch-team profile named Ankit is not treated as the founder: the first-party company page supplies the founder identity.
The useful core: capture, check, post
The website supports printed, handwritten and photographed bills, PDF invoices, voice notes and text expenses. It advertises extraction of vendor, date, amount, GST, HSN and line items. The verification dashboard is where the original record and proposed fields should be compared. A wrong GST treatment, vendor or amount is still a wrong accounting entry, even if the OCR was fast.
The public app login offers a no-signup demo. I inspected its dashboard and bills list, and opened a sample draft’s verification view without saving anything. The loaded dashboard showed draft-count and plan-usage cards; the bills screen showed dated vendor entries with balances. These are genuine official product views. They demonstrate layout, not processing accuracy, a live customer ledger or a tested Zoho connection.
The sample verification view exposes a queue, classification, bill number/date/vendor, GST treatment, adjustments and the review-before-posting warning. Its PDF preview did not load into a readable document during this inspection. I did not invent a successful original-to-extraction comparison, approve the sample, upload a bill or change a field. Dashboard and list screenshots were selected rather than presenting the incomplete PDF view as proof of reliable extraction.
Support instructions say each sender’s WhatsApp number must be registered to the account, multiple team numbers can send to the same books, and attribution identifies the sender. The correct Zoho organisation must be chosen during OAuth connection. Those operational details matter more than a two-minute setup slogan: sending into the wrong organisation can create accounting cleanup. No connection or message was made for this review.
Zoho today, other promises need separating
Zoho Books is the live accounting core, described as native two-way sync. Zoffer is not the system of record; the user’s books remain in their accounting account. Tally Prime is explicitly early access for pre-registered users with personal onboarding, not an unrestricted live integration. QuickBooks is on the company roadmap. None was connected for this review, and no public API was verified.
Basic natural-language questions about the books are described on both the product and company pages. The homepage goes further with an AI CFO, proactive input-tax-credit risk alerts and cashflow foresight. The company page, however, places financial intelligence, forecasting, live MIS, agentic workflows and loan aggregation ahead on the roadmap. I would not buy this bill-entry product on an assumption that those broader capabilities have shipped.
The same company roadmap mentions Hindi/regional-language support and voice notes while the homepage already lists voice input. Voice capture is therefore a current advertised claim with documentation that needs clarification, not a verified tested feature. The CA multi-firm dashboard also remains on the roadmap even though a founding-partner offer is on sale. Unlimited client onboarding does not mean the promised single-login multi-firm interface was inspected.
Credit limits, renewal and the current prices
Free includes twenty automated bills per month, WhatsApp capture, the verification dashboard and basic support. Pro Monthly is INR999 per month for two hundred automated bills and priority support, with manual renewal. Pro Auto is INR899 per month for the same two-hundred-bill allowance and automatic renewal. One hundred extra credits cost INR599 from the dashboard. Starting price remains blank in the directory, and exact rupee amounts appear in plan names to avoid the theme’s default dollar formatting.
Support defines one processed bill as one credit whether it came as a photo, PDF, voice note or text message. An attempt that yields no usable extraction does not consume a credit according to the vendor. Exhausted accounts cannot process new bills until top-up or the next cycle. Credit rollover, top-up expiry, final tax treatment and partial-refund terms were not verified. Check them before paying; a monthly allowance is not an unlimited fair-use plan.
The CA Founding Partner offer is INR10,000 per year, against a struck-through INR12,000 reference price. It advertises unlimited client onboarding, two hundred shared credits each month and personal onboarding. It is a pooled allowance across clients, not two hundred per client. Contact-led onboarding and the roadmap multi-firm interface make this an offer to discuss rather than a verified self-service agency dashboard.
Support says upgrades, downgrades and cancellation are under Settings then Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, retaining access and remaining credits until then, with no cancellation fee or lock-in. This is not a refund promise. The login’s Terms link led only to a hash on the same page, and a targeted search did not locate a usable official terms/refund page. Terms URL is therefore blank instead of pointing readers to a dead policy link. No checkout, renewal, cancellation or purchase was tested.
Privacy is more specific than the homepage slogan
The August 19, 2026 privacy policy lists phone/password, business information and GSTIN, Zoho OAuth tokens, bills/images/messages, subscription information, session data and application logs. It says there are no analytics tools, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or device fingerprinting; no advertising/profiling/sale; and no use of customer data for AI model training. These are published policy commitments, not a network or code audit.
HTTPS/TLS is described for transit. AES-256 at rest is specifically promised for sensitive credentials, with separate keys, and passwords are hashed. That narrower description should not be inflated into verified encryption of every field. Razorpay handles payment; Zoffer says it does not store card or bank details. No independent security certification or full audit was found.
The policy names categories rather than actual providers for messaging, AI, OTP and cloud infrastructure. AI services receive invoice images and extracted text, and cloud data may be stored outside India. Paid API tiers are said not to use customer data for training. A buyer should still ask which processors, regions and contractual safeguards apply before forwarding sensitive supplier or employee records.
It says financial records remain in Zoho Books and are fetched when needed, with no copy of bills/expenses stored by Zoffer. Images are deleted after processing. Account data and encrypted OAuth tokens stay until account deletion; AI chat history stays until cleared or the account is deleted. Application logs have a limited but unspecified retention period. Already-synced Zoho data remains under the user’s control after Zoffer deletion.
There is an important wording gap: homepage/support say WhatsApp messages are not stored beyond processing, whereas the privacy retention table says WhatsApp processing data is deleted on account deletion. Messages and processing data may differ, but that distinction is not explained. I would ask what derived content remains and for how long, rather than convert both into a zero-retention claim. No deletion flow or access-control review was exercised.
Ashley Richmond’s verdict
I like the human checkpoint. A bill-entry tool is more useful when it makes the draft easy to inspect than when it boasts about how quickly it can post. The free allowance gives a small business a way to test its own receipt quality and GST patterns before committing to a larger plan.
I would start with representative bills and keep the accountant involved. Check original totals, tax treatment, line items and the destination organisation. Keep the ledger in Zoho, monitor the credit balance, and judge the product on correction effort rather than the unbenchmarked ninety-percent time-saving claim. The wider AI-CFO and future multi-firm story are not reasons to skip a practical pilot.
Review disclosure: October 1, 2026 desk research of official homepage/pricing/FAQ, company, privacy, support and Tally pages, exact Product Hunt launch context, and the official no-signup demo. Inspected dashboard, bill list and an unmodified draft verification view; PDF preview did not load readably. No customer account, credentials, private bills, WhatsApp messages, uploads, extraction benchmark, Zoho/Tally OAuth, posting, payment, subscription, refund, cancellation, deletion, security audit or accuracy/GST compliance certification. Product outcomes and roadmap delivery are not independently verified.
